Terms and Conditions

Booking is normally Saturday to Saturday or, occasionally, Sunday to Sunday. Out of season short breaks are also possible. Payment of requested deposit confirms a booking, the balance to be paid on arrival, by cash, by cheque made payable to S.M.Santos or by BACS transfer. If, unfortunately, a booking has to be cancelled we will do our best to re-let the accommodation. If we succeed we shall return your deposit, less a cancellation fee; if we fail you will be liable for the full rental. We therefore recommend that you take out a cancellation policy.

Arrival – The Mews is available from 4.00pm on the day of commencement of your stay. You may, if you wish, deposit luggage earlier.

Departure – Please ensure that you vacate by 10.30am on departure day in order that we may thoroughly service the property for the next guests.

Pets – May be accepted by prior arrangement and subject to the following conditions:

  • Pets must be kept off furniture and beds,
  • Pets must be kept under control at all times,
  • Pets must not be left unattended in the property or garden.
  • Owners must follow the Countryside Code,
  • Owners must remove pet hairs and other traces before leaving and are responsible for any damage caused by their pet(s).

Breakages – You are responsible for any breakage or damage which you cause to the accommodation or its contents; please report any that occurs. We do not normally charge for minor breakage but, in the case of significant damage, we may invoice you for repair or making good.

Liability – We do not accept any liability for damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or to any vehicles or possessions brought onto the property by visitors.
